Gary Nickard and I were offered the opportunity to animate the contents of the newly established Niagara Science Museum.  We chose to configure the many amazing objects into Wunderkammern or Cabinets of Curiosity.  These arrangements embraced the notion of the mysterious.  The installation is intended to raise questions about the respective boundaries of art and science, the sources of artistic inspiration, conventional notions of authorship and creativity, as well as to challenge common-sense assumptions about how the world is supposed to work, with the hopeful intention of evoking new understanding.
