ESCARPTMENT, RIVER, ROCKS

This work combines a large dolomite boulder suspended amidst a tangle of bronze wild grape vines. One of the vines is hollow and serves as a conduit for water to course upward and cascade over the boulder.  The resulting sounds of water can be heard trickling and licking over the boulder creating a quiet and calming influence within the confines of the sculpture garden space in Bielefeld, Germany.
